The guesthouse offered good value for a convenient stay in Southsea, although the dated decor was a downside. The comfortable bed and nice selection of hot drinks were pleasant, but the rude owner impacted the overall experience.

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to the sea and a central area with various pubs and restaurants. The rooms, while tidy and equipped with everything needed, are dated and not worth the price tag. The dining experience offers a good menu selection within a limited time slot. However, being possibly the only downside, the location could be better for those attending events in Portsmouth.
The room, described as a Double-Superior-Ensuite-King Bed, was very dated with a low old bed and oblong cupboard containing a toilet and shower. It was clean and tidy with some nice extra touches.
Service was friendly and attentive.
The hotel's location is fairly central to Southseas Albert Road with various pubs and restaurants, but it might not be the most convenient for those heading to Fratton Park. The hotel is up an attic between 8 and 9 with no exceptions for easy access to Portsmouth.
The dining experience was very good with a nice menu selection offered within a one-hour time slot.

I had a comfortable stay at the guesthouse in Southsea. The room met my needs with its cleanliness, tidy setup, and nice selection of hot drinks and snacks.
